This financial firm’s headquarters in Irving, TX, initially engaged WSV to help explore their organizational goals, employee engagement and branding as it relates to their upcoming re-stack of three floors. The leaders of the organization elected to take the time to understand how the workspace, employee engagement and furniture are all connected.
workspacevision met with executives of each business, as well as the user groups. The executive team participated in a workplace assessment exercise to uncover the top organizational drivers of the project prior to design development. Top drivers: executives wanted to drive employee engagement and communication through collaborative work environments, enhancing the aesthetic of the open areas and appeal to their clients through branding. They supported this with an all employee survey focused on employee satisfaction.
The project scope was focused on open plan workspaces with the addition of impromptu huddle and meeting spaces, while keeping the existing 12-year old private office products. The largest logistical challenge was the restacking of three floors of new product, with a client six day production week in occupied space. workspacevision initially focused on the functionality of the employee workspace and how to manage work surface space and storage, while lowering panel horizon and encouraging collaboration. workspacevision explored styles of working for personal, small group, and large group interaction- including technology. Once square footage usage and performance needed of supporting furniture products were determined. workspacevision managed the RFI, RFP, showroom tours, mock-ups, and negotiations of both product and service contracts.

workspacevision successfully re-stacked three occupied floors in the headquarters building that reimaged the corporate brand. The classic aesthetic and coordinating materials complemented the existing private office product beautifully. The installation occurred over every weekend, for three months.
The workspacevision team delivered all aspects of the workspace project under budget and with a higher level of product in terms of performance and aesthetics than prior to the move. The team also assisted with change management via deliverables and strategy with the internal marketing team. workspacevision negotiated a four year contract for both products and labor. Additionally, workspacevision managed the liquidation of the existing systems product and the appropriate reuse of ancillary items within the office.
